Brief Course Description:
The course includes:
- Ideology, study of Yoga philosophy.
- Technology, Practice of Yama, Niyama Asana, Pranayama, Mudras and kinds of Dhyana.
It includes presentation of lesson plans.
- Study of anatomy and applied physiology for understanding yoga and health.
- Yoga counselling and attitude training.
Class and home assignment
- Application of Yoga: Yoga as education, Yoga as Therapy, yoga as way of life.
- Project work: Yoga for children, women, executives, senior citizen.
Duration: 6 months, 200 hours. (Excellent faculty and training )
Objective: To train qualified teacher to teach pristine, traditional, classical yoga in schools & colleges and general public.
Eligibility: 12th Pass (HSC)
Admission Process: At the time of admission, candidate has to submit one passport size photo & HSC Marksheet.
Fees: Tuition fee: Rs.18,000/- & Registration fee: Rs.3000/- = Total Rs. 21,000/-
Attendance :
- The candidate has to put in minimum attendance of 90% in each subject. Attendance criteria may be released for a candidate on medical ground, participation in cultural activities, examinations at university level or for those attending seminars and workshops.
- The grant of leave has to be sought in advance.
Examination :
- Objective type exam (50 marks) FOR Theory :
The student will have to give objective type exam based on paper I at the end of the course.
- Practical examination (Paper 2) :
The student will have to complete weekly assignment of theory and practice teaching from 3rd month onwards.
- Project work.
